At the heart of our parish life is the gathering of the faithful around Christ in the Holy Eucharist.
The work of the people
The Divine Liturgy is the central worship of the Orthodox Church, where the faithful hear the Scriptures, offer common prayer, and receive the Holy Gifts.
The traditional Orthodox posture for prayer is standing, so visitors should plan to stand throughout the Divine Liturgy. Those who are elderly, pregnant, ill, disabled, or otherwise physically unable to stand may sit as needed. Holy Communion is reserved for properly prepared Orthodox Christians, but everyone is invited to receive the blessed bread offered at the conclusion.
For first-time visitors
Please observe the parish dress code. Men should wear long trousers and a shirt with sleeves. Women should wear a modest dress or skirt below the knee, cover their shoulders, and cover their heads in church. Please avoid shorts, sleeveless tops, and revealing clothing.
The service includes incense, chanted prayer, Scripture, and periods of standing. Participate as much or as little as is comfortable.

Our parish worships in St. Barbara’s Chapel on the grounds of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Our Sunday Divine Liturgy begins at 12:30 PM; please arrive 15 minutes early.
